Winslade Powergen makes extensive use of Computer Aided Design and Drafting and we also incorporate computer assistance for remote monitoring, preventative fault finding and scheduled maintenance planning.
Our operating power stations all have human-machine- interface workstations and can be operated and remote controlled from our Perth headquarters using standard dial-in software.
We choose modern, economical diesel and gas-fuel engines with PLC based engine management systems to ensure maximum efficiency and lowest operating costs. We employ innovative construction techniques, such as tilt-up concrete, which has benefits of lower noise and thermal insulation while achieving Category 1 cyclone rating.
Our operation and maintenance planning includes sophisticated condition monitoring, vibration analysis and oil analysis to detect faults and take early corrective action.
